With three minutes left in the game Sally Yabsley takes the ball forward through the defence and unloads a powerful shot towards goal. NSW Captain and tournament MVP Tracy Ivin is on hand to redirect the ball past the ACT keeper to the approval of the huge pro NSW crowd (turn up the sound.. the cheer is awesome). The single goal was enough to secure NSW their first Womens Australian National Title.

From the face off Saxon Hooper gets it back to Harry Sotiropoulos who lines up for a big shot. The shot miss hit dribles to Tim Brown who slots it past the ACT keeper. Tim Brown's second with a minute to go raises the hopes of the NSW fans, however there isnt enough time left and ACT hang on to win their 13th straight Aussie Nationals.

Only minutes before the end of a tight first half Saxon Hooper of NSW follows down on a partially intercepted pass from Steve Timmins. The ACT goal keeper makes an error and cant recover. Goal to Saxon Hooper and 1 nil to NSW.
