Nil all at the end of regulation time. Icebergs and Can Openers go into overtime. Icebergs through Aaron Walsh score the opening goal in overtime. Still four minutes to go for Can Openers.

Sudden Death Overtime starts badly for 69ers as Brett Mitchell was sent off with only 30 seconds left in the game meaning phoenix had a 4 to 3 player advantage. Katie Robson passes up the wall to brother Matt who takes it over half way and flips over to Joel Firth. The pass then goes back to Matt Robson who calmly slots home the winner.
